Ingredients:
2- rib eye steaks 1 1/2 inch thick
2 teaspoons Kosher salt
1 teaspoon Black pepper
2 tablespoon olive oil
4 tablespoons butter

Instructions:
  • First step is Bring rib eye steaks to room temperature. Generously salt and pepper both sides.
  • And then, Heat a skillet on medium high heat, (I use cast iron skillet) add 2 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Add sliced onions. Reduce heat to medium low and cook 15-20 minutes stirring every minute, to prevent any burning. Remove and set aside.
